Perspective Changes Everything

It is amazing just how much of life and it's experiences and challenges truly change with a shift in YOUR perspective.  Last week I received an unbelievable testament to this when I stepped outside my apartment door and saw the most beautiful sign of the change of the seasons I have seen up to this point.  I was just working away preparing for a business trip when I saw the beauty of what God was doing right in front of my face - framed beautifully too by the building I live in (He pays attention to the small details like that).  Here is what I saw:

It was absolutely breathtaking.  My first thought was, "Why haven't I noticed that before?"  So I quickly went downstairs to the front of the tree where we drive and park all the time.  And amazingly enough I found out why I had not noticed it before now.  The tree looks completely different when you view it from a story below and a different angle all together.

So it really got me to thinking.  What is it in life that just needs to be viewed from a different perspective in order to see what God sees?  Is it a work situation, a church issue, a ministry opportunity, a family struggle, a financial problem or maybe a relationship issue with a spouse, a friend or a relative.  All of these can be viewed from a variety of perspectives and the question is what perspective do you have in the situation at hand?  Is it your perspective or one of a higher calling - namely God's?  I challenge you today to ask God to show you HIS perspective on it and to bring you to a breathtaking reality that He is working all things together for good.

You can be in the worst situation you can imagine, but when you allow God to change your perspective you see what was meant for evil, God has intended for good.
