Too many times we say "tomorrow I will do that", "one day I will find time to make that dream happen" or "it will happen someday".  And we put our dreams, and often our lives, on hold for that "one day".  In the meantime, moments pass, breaths are breathed, time slips away and too often we find ourselves years older and nothing has remotely changed.

Why do we do that?  We are not superman (although I have been called superwoman - which I am not!)...mountains cannot be leaped in a single bound, so why do we think our dreams will just magically happen one day? I am guilty of it too.  But this year I am taking the reins, I am climbing the mountains and I may fail, but I will not be accused of not trying, of waiting for something to happen.  The changes I am looking for begin within the confines of my mind.  The happiness I seek can be found when I search inside myself to find the dreams and desires that God wants to see fulfilled in me and I start moving towards them today!

Physical changes, emotional changes and even career changes are difficult and require determination to complete.  But we have a saying in my family that started when I was a child and I have now taught it to my children..."Fifty percent of any job is just getting started."

So get started today and you are already half way there.  Make a list, make a plan, decide today to be something great.  Don't wait for tomorrow to mend that relationship or help that dream come to pass.  Do it today.  We are not guaranteed tomorrow.  Just a small step today leads to a mile a few days from now and before you know it you are on the top of the mountain, breathing in the fresh air of accomplishment and success.
