Giving Thanks for the Sunshine - Day 2

I am solar powered.  I don't mean that I am energy conscious (although I try to be), I AM LITERALLY SOLAR POWERED. I love the sunshine.  I am a beach lover, sun lover, pool lover and all around heat and warmth kinda gal.  If it is overcast and rainy for too many days in a row, I start to get antsy and edgy over even the smallest things.

It seems there are solar powered products for just about everything these days - even soccer balls! Cool idea to be sure.
Solar Powered Soccer Ball, greendix, taiwan, green toys, solar powered toys, green design, eco toys, sustainable toys, energy generating toys, soccer
I am learning now, just how much my body actually craves the sunlight.  And I am so grateful that God decided that the earth's main power source would be the sunlight!

But today while driving to work, I was starting to get frustrated with the sun shining directly into my face and causing my commute to be longer than I wanted.  Sunshine slowdown can really be a bummer.  And then I remembered, I am solar powered!  And on this journey of giving thanks, I decided to not complain or get frustrated, but to be thankful that today was a sunny November day, without clouds, rain, drizzle or major wind.  Just a gorgeous sunrise and morning and instead I basked in the glory of that warmth on my face and the sun in my eyes and I thanked God for His power and energy in my life.

And while I was at it, I remembered to thank Him for my sight and the fact that I do not NEED a solar powered soccer ball, even though it is nice to know they exist in case I ever did.
