Loss is a trial that is not easily trumped. It is one of those trials that lingers on for days, months, weeks or even years depending upon the type of loss experienced.
Today, we mourn the loss of a young man. A life that was full of promise.
I am mad. I am hurt. I feel loss for the family, the friends and those who knew and loved him. And although we may not understand God's ways, we all need to know that God has a plan for us and life is too short not to follow Him today! We never know when our time on this earth will be done.
We need to let GOD trump the lies we all hear from the our enemy of our souls - lies of unworthiness, depression, pain, misery and hopelessness. Lies that tell us we have tomorrow to make a decision to live for Him.
I am determined to pray harder, fight longer and find a way to help reach this generation to tell them that life is a gift, life is worth living, time is short and God has a purpose for each and every one of us.
God use me. Teach me. Help me. Your kingdom come, Your will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven. And God bless the loved ones who are hurting from this loss the most.
